NOUN’s site featured complex GSAP animations, background videos, custom sliders, and advanced layouts, but it lacked technical consistency. The hero video failed on Safari, scroll animations broke on iOS, and media performance was slow due to inefficient hosting. The site also suffered from misaligned layouts, broken CMS bindings, and unresponsive forms.
The challenge wasn’t just technical. It was architectural. We needed to deeply debug the site’s front-end structure, rewrite broken logic, and rehost media, all while preserving the brand’s premium look and feel.
Our approach was deeply technical yet design-conscious. We resolved persistent animation and browser compatibility issues by rewriting GSAP sequences, fixing rendering quirks in Safari and iOS, and restructuring media logic to ensure stable performance across all devices. Layout inconsistencies were corrected through refined CMS bindings and responsive styling, while the slider and hero section were rebuilt with clean, reliable markup. Additionally, we migrated the site’s heavy media files to Cloudflare R2, significantly improving load speed and hosting reliability.
Beyond these fixes, we conducted a comprehensive performance audit and applied best practices across JavaScript, CSS, and image optimization. As a result, the site now runs smoothly, loads faster, and performs more consistently, without losing its creative edge.
