La Salute is a family-run Italian restaurant in Hillegersberg, Rotterdam. Lisette and Libero opened it in 1995 on the Bergse Dorpsstraat, and it has become a household name in the neighbourhood and beyond. The menu is built around Sicilian specialties, from caponata and spaghetti with langoustine to dishes prepared at the table, like truffle spaghetti in a wheel of Parmesan. Alongside the restaurant, La Salute runs a lunchroom, a catering service, and homemade limoncello and meloncello.
Guests are welcomed like family, and the brand describes itself as the Italian living room of Rotterdam.

After more than 25 years, La Salute has a loyal circle of guests and a strong reputation, but the warmth guests feel at the table is hard to capture in a static online presence. The restaurant wanted to stay true to its family character while reaching a new, younger audience and keeping its existing community engaged. This required content that felt authentic rather than staged, plus a structured social media strategy to build awareness and bring more guests through the door.
We developed a content approach built around what makes La Salute special: the people, the food, and the atmosphere. Instead of generic food photography, the content shows real guests enjoying their tables, the team and owner Libero in action, hand-rolled dough, twirled pasta, and Aperol spritzes in the checkered-tablecloth setting that guests recognise. Short-form video, including the “Sounds of La Salute” series and personal moments with the team, gives the brand a human voice and makes it feel like an invitation to sit down.
To support this, we put a structured approach to social media marketing and ongoing management in place, with a consistent posting rhythm, organised highlights (Menù, Famiglia, La Cucina, Salotto), and active community engagement. The result is a feed that feels as warm and welcoming as the restaurant itself.
